Lens
This prescription lens package will be fitted into your chosen eyewear and quality control checked by Eyekit prior to dispatch to ensure the quality and accuracy of your prescription. It comprises the following as summarised in the title:
Active Varifocals - These lenses are designed for dynamic sports and active lifestyles. They provide a larger un-interrupted distance viewing area with a smaller intermediate zone designed specifically for sport such as seeing detail in-front of a bike or the ground in-front while running and also a near vision optimised for viewing sports instruments such as a bike speedometer, maps or your watch while running. Don't worry, they will also allow you to read the menu comfortably when stopping for a coffer break!
Sports Lenses - These prescription lenses are made from polycarbonate. They are very strong, impact resistant, lightweight and thin. Most branded safety glasses, sports sunglasses and goggles are made from this material.
PhotoPolar - There are three options to choose from dependent on your requirement:
1. Infinite Grey Lenses - NuPolar Infinite Grey are a new generation of prescription sun-wear products. They combine the award winning NuPolar polarisation technology with state of the art photochromic. NuPolar Infinite Grey offers the widest range of light transmittance while maintaining 99% polarisation efficiency. In its lightest state, it has 40% light transmittance providing great vision in overcast weather or even indoors. When fully activated, lens transmittance goes down to the lowest permissible level for driving reaching 9%, great for bright sunny days.
2. DriveWear Lenses - These are made from advanced Transitions photochromic technology and breakthroughs in NuPolar polarising technology. The photochromic lens which get darker or lighter in accordance with the intensity of visible light has been specially developed to work effectively behind car windshields. These DriveWear lenses are capable of sensing and reacting to varying light conditions both outside and behind the windshield of the car or aeroplane canopy. The polarising lens will eliminate glare from all reflective surfaces such as the road surface or other cars. Unlike other polarising lenses they have been developed to work across the photochromic range of the lens.
3. Transitions XTRActive Polarised Lenses - Made from advanced Transitions photochromic technology and breakthroughs in variable polarising technology. They are light reactive lenses that changes lens tint density with the changing light conditions providing comfortable vision whatever the light intensity.

Prescription Orders
Over 95% of orders dispatched are delivered within the timeframes stated above, however, due to the nature of the glazing process, we can not guarantee specific delivery dates on prescription orders. Prescription lenses are made to very high standards with low tolerance for errors and are rigorously checked at all stages of production. Any error in the prescription across the lens, deficiencies in the coating or blemishes that cannot be removed means the lens would need to go back in production and re-made. All prescription lenses are also rigorously checked at Eyekit before dispatch and any errors will mean that the lenses as sent back to the glazer for replacing. We have a zero tolerance for errors to ensure our customers receive prescription eyewear to the highest standards and we will not compromise on these standards even if it means delivering eyewear later than expected.
